The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will get underway on Friday night with reigning champions Chennai Super Kings hosting Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Ahead of the highly anticipated T20 extravaganza, Reliance Jio has introduced a brand-new promotional offer for its users. Known as the IPL Offer 2024, Reliance Jio is providing 50 days of free broadband services to JioFiber and Jio AirFiber customers. The latest offer, made by Reliance Jio, will be valid up to April 30, 2024.
Customers will, however, have to redeem the 50-day discount voucher after obtaining a payable invoice from the telecom operator and it will be adjusted in the next billing period. The process of redemption can be completed on the MyJio App before the discount voucher comes to an end.
As per a release shared by Reliance Jio, the facility will be ‘applicable for new and existing JioFiber & AirFiber users.’ The new users should have a Jio True 5G mobility service with an age on network of a minimum 10 days and activate the JioFiber or the AirFiber connection with the Jio True 5G connection as registered mobile number in order to avail the new service provided by the telecom operator.
The official statement shared by Reliance Jio said that the offer will be applicable once per Jio True 5G mobile connection following the activation of JioFiber or the JioAirFiber connection. ‘Existing JioFiber & JioAirFiber user who does either bill plan change, prepaid to postpaid migration or makes a 12 months advance payment gets eligible for this offer,’ read the statement.
‘Once AirFiber connection is installed & activated, a 50-day FREE discount voucher will be credited to user MyJio account within 7 working days,’ the statement added. The discount voucher will be valid for two years from the date of credit and it will be non-transferable, the statement added.
Coming back to IPL 2024, the season opener will be hosted tonight at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk in Chennai. Newly appointed Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad will be involved in the opening contest tonight against Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will start their IPL 2024 campaign with a match against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 24.
