Gold Price Today: Gold prices have picked a new all-time high at Rs 66778 per 10 grams on Thursday. The Gold future contract for April 2024 Expiry opened at Rs 66,100 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and touched an intraday high of Rs 66,778 per 10 grams within minutes of the commodity market opening.
However, gold and silver rates will open in the bullion markets around noon. Looking at the trend of MCX, it seems that gold will set a new record in the bullion market as well. Gold price on MCX has reached a new all-time high in the domestic market today. The spot gold price in the international market remains above $2,200 an ounce.
Earlier on Wednesday, gold had closed at Rs 65689 per 10 grams in the bullion markets. According to the rate released by IBJA, 23-carat gold closed at Rs 65426 per 10 grams. 22-carat gold closed at Rs 60171 and 18-carat gold closed at Rs 49267. Meanwhile, the rate of 14-carat gold was at Rs 38428. Silver closed at Rs 73886 per kg.
