Indore: In a shocking incident, a brother and sister duo reportedly died by suicide in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district.
(18) left behind a note saying that their father, who used to work abroad, did not care about them.
Sharing details, the police said that Sadik, the father of siblings works in Kuwait. At the time of the incident, their mother had gone to the nearby mosque to offer prayers. The autopsy report revealed poison in their stomach.
The police added that the bodies of both siblings were found lying close to each other. The probe is also being done on whether they consumed the poison themselves or were made to consume it by somebody else.
A handwritten note was found on the spot
While a handwritten letter was also found on the spot, the police is also probing whether the letter was written by them. As per the police, the note left behind by the siblings said that they were forced to take this step as their father not only did not give them a good life but also didn’t care to get their eyes treated.
Police are now finding out if they consumed it or were made to have it by someone else. The officials recovered a suicide note from the spot but they are getting it checked by handwriting experts to find out if one of the deceased wrote it. Police said that they found a page in which it was written that they were taking the extreme step because of their father who couldn’t give them a good life and did not get their eyes treated. On hearing about his children’s deaths Sadiq reached home from Kuwait to participate in the final rites.
