Lava is gearing up to launch another phone named the Lava O2 in India. The brand has teased the arrival of the upcoming phone via a post on X (formerly Twitter). The Amazon listing has also revealed the key features and colour options of the Lava O2. Let’s dive into the details.
Lava O2: What to Expect?
The official teaser video shows the phone in a Green colour variant, while theAmazon listingconfirms the Lava O2 will also be available in Majestic Purple colour. The speaker grille and the charging will be on the bottom, while the power and volume buttons will be housed on the right edge of the device.
As per the Amazon listing, the Lava O2 will be powered by the Unisoc T616 octa-core processor which managed upwards of 250K+ points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform.
The phone will come with 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 native storage. There will also be expandable RAM support and it will run Android 13 OS instead of the latest version.
Upfront, the Lava O2 will feature a punch-hole cutout to house the 8MP selfie camera and will sport a 6.5-inch screen with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, and a 90Hz refresh rate. For imaging, the phone will get a 50MP AI dual camera at the rear panel.
Further, the device will be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. Other features will include a 2x fast side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity.
The phone will measure 165 x 76.1 x 8.7 mm in size and weighs 200 grams. The Amazon listing also confirms the box will bundle a power adapter, USB cable, SIM Tray Ejector, and a phone case.
Lava O2 India Launch Details
The launch date of the Lava O2 is yet to be announced. However, it will go on sale via Amazon after its official announcement. Based on the features, we expect the upcoming phone from Lava will carry an affordable price tag as its predecessor Lava O1 which was launched last year.
The successor will have a few upgrades like a 50MP camera, punch-hole display, and a design like the Yuva 3 Pro. Further, the brand might announce the official launch date soon.
